VAT REGIME APPLICABLE TO INVESTMENT GOLD

In accordance with article 298 sexdecies A of the French General Tax Code, transactions involving investment gold, in particular certain gold coins and bars meeting the legal criteria, are exempt from value-added tax.

Consequently, the sales commission on these goods is exempt from VAT. Other gold items, notably jewelry, watches or scrap gold, remain subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.

Lots can only be collected by appointment, confirmed in advance by the Hôtel des Ventes.

Please provide the necessary packaging for your goods.
