MALTE-BRUN (Victor-Adolphe) - Illustrated France. Geography, history, administration and statistics. Paris, Gustave Barba, s.d. (circa 1853); 3 volumes, small in-4, multiple pagination, contemporary green half-basane, smooth spine with faux-nerves (spines a little rubbed, notably that of the atlas volume, dusty binding). With a signed autograph letter from Malte-Brun inset opposite the title page. The atlas is complete with 103 color maps, with a few handwritten annotations by Arthur Benoit. A good copy, despite minor imperfections.
