SARREGUEMINES, circa 1880-85 Stoneware jug called lithoceram. Does not bear a shape number. In several publications, this piece is erroneously referred to as "Vase cornet" under the shape number "414". Obtained by molding, pan-shaped, with handle, narrow neck and spout. Incised and enameled decoration of hearts, clover leaves, circles and other geometric motifs. Gilding highlights. Engraved marks under the base: "C 03 - SARREGUEMINES" for the factory, decoration number "414" (in an unusual size), "P" and "W" shaping marks and "E" printed gilder's mark.
