SARREGUEMINES "Etruscan vase with three handles". circa 1880 Lithoceram stoneware vase. Carries the shape number "871" which corresponds, in the list of numbers of fancy and decorative objects at the Sarreguemines faience factory, to an "Etruscan Vase with 3 handles". Obtained by molding, of pan-shaped form with flared neck and three handles. Incised and enameled decoration of stylized leaves, a zigzag frieze at the bottom of the piece and scrolling motifs. Gold highlights. Engraved marks under the base: "C 03 - SARREGUEMINES" for the factory, shape number "871", incomplete decoration number "43" and shaping marks "S" and "K". Illegible handwritten mark corresponding to the gilder's initials. H 13.50 x W 7.70 cm Slight wear
