SARREGUEMINES, circa 1914 Majolique basket in fine earthenware coated with glazes colored with metallic oxides. Bears the shape number "4773", which corresponds to a "Corbeille à anse" in the list of numbers for decorative objects at the Sarreguemines faience factory. Obtained by molding, oval shape with wavy rim and handle. Decorated in relief with wavy lines and yellow flowers with red hearts. Debossed marks under the base: "C 11A - SARREGUEMINES" for the factory, shape number "4773", paste number "227" and "V" and "N" shaping marks. H 18.5 x W 22 x D 14.5 cm Minor wear
