SARREGUEMINES, circa 1920-30 Majolique smoker's set in fine earthenware coated with glazes colored with metallic oxides. Bears the shape number "2229", which corresponds to a "Nécessaire de fumeur" in the Sarreguemines faïencerie's list of fancy and decorative object numbers. Obtained by molding, it consists of a blue purse-shaped container closed by a gold cord, on which, by way of lid, are placed a small container and a black book with the inscription "JOB". Around the purse, a pipe and two canvas bags for various smoker's items. Debossed marks under the base: "C 11B - SARREGUEMINES FRANCE" for the factory, shape number "2229", paste number "531", shaping mark "R" and printed trademark "I 36A - SARREGUEMINES D.V. FRANCE". Total height - 11.50 cm Chips
