SARREGUEMINES-DIGOIN, circa 1900-20 Form consisting of a planter and two vases in Majolica fine earthenware coated with glazes colored with metallic oxides. Bears the shape number "7071". Obtained by molding, oval jardinière flanked on either side by two cylindrical vases with slightly flared necks. The three elements form a single piece and rest on a single base. Relief decoration of stylized plant elements. A bird's head and wings are set in a medallion in the center of the jardinière. Light blue majolica background, airbrushed red airbrushed red. Art Nouveau style. Debossed markings under the base: "C 16 - SARREGUEMINES, U C, DIGOIN" for the factory and shape number "7071". H 12 x W 18 x D 7 cm Lack of original enamel on the base of the vase.
