SARREGUEMINES "Trebizond vase Circa 1888 Fine earthenware vase. Bears the shape number "1971", which corresponds to a "Vase Trébizonde" in the Sarreguemines faïencerie's list of fancy and decorative object numbers. Obtained by molding, it has a pan-shaped form with a high, straight neck. Alternating burgundy and ivory ribbons run the length of the vase. On the burgundy background, a painted design of small flowers in blue enamel and gilded foliage. On the ivory background, painted flowers and leaves. A lace frieze in gilding on a burgundy background separates the body from the neck. Enamel and gilding highlights. Engraved marks under the base: "C 03 - SARREGUEMINES" for the factory, "1971" shape number, "950" decoration number and "A" shaping mark. H 32 x W 11 cm Minor wear
