Alsatian Renaissance ARMOIRE with three ringed columns Composed of three parts (base, body and entablature), it is inlaid with geometric motifs all along the front, and opens with two cushioned casements flanked by ringed columns set on a base supporting the cornice. Under and over the window are carvings of interlaced foliage, typical of the Baroque style. The pedestal features a flap giving access to two drawers. Ball base. The center of the pediment is inscribed with the cabinet's creation date (1667). Fir veneered with walnut, maple, plum and oak.
